latent laughter permeates
carrying our grief
sorrow holds our hands
wailing with our ancestors

eating past regrets
drinking mercury and lead
pain metabolized
sacrificed the fear
constructs compromised and sighed
peace made with the void
time becoming space
dreaming dreams of human beings
space becoming breath
nothing to undo
